Pippa leaned back in her seat as Cade started up the car again, a smear of vomit still clinging to his chin. She had no idea where they were, or where they were going. She knew so little of what lay beyond Kilpa. From childhood she’d been taught to fear the outside world, a world filled with all kinds of wickedness. She knew they were heading north, though.
