I arrive at the Privy Council meeting with heavy heart indeed. Brother Thomas has finally sealed his own fate with his outrageous, treacherous behaviour and will be lucky not to lose his life. He has been bribing the Vice-treasurer of the Bristol Mint, Sir William Sharington and attempting to raise funds to overthrow the government. It appears that he has found out some dishonest dealings by Sharington and taken full advantage of his knowledge to finance his own evil scheme.
