"Wait, did you just say I was going to be tested?" I said, faking a scared expression while widening my eyes.
Tested, my arse. No one is powerful enough to touch me.
"Haha… Don't worry, dear. We'll make it short and quick," The girl said, and the boy looked at us cluelessly. Sweeping his gaze between me and his girlfriend, he looked at us strangely, as if he was hearing these words for the first time in his life.
"What are you guys talking about? Lanterns? Test? Am I missing something? How do you even know about the professor's test? You are not even part of our lab." That boy asked her.
Well, it looks like someone is in for a surprise. I won’t be surprised to know that she hasn’t told him about our species.
