Ava's POV "Aren't you putting your pack at risk with this?" Lucy asked, her fingers tracing lazy circles over Liam's chest, slow and provocative, before she leaned in to nip at his jaw, her lips lingering like she was staking her claim. Her gaze flicked to me, smug and challenging, as if daring me to speak up. Liam's stare was fixed on me, piercing, making my skin crawl. I bowed my head, focusing on the plate in front of me, piled with tender roasted meat, steaming carrots, and fluffy rice. I'd already demolished half the meat, and now I was digging into the slow-cooked beef, the rich aroma wafting up and hitting me hard. Anything to dodge Lucy’s mocking glare and Liam’s intense scrutiny, dredging up memories of his betrayal—and those filthy lies about me and Steve screwing in the woods
