Ava’s POV  Liam’s face contorted with rage when I challenged him about Freya. His blue eyes ignited, and he shot up as if I’d slapped him. “Don’t you dare challenge me in my own council, Ava!” he roared, his words bouncing off the stone walls. “You’re finished here—you and the healers, get out!” I turned, watching the healers shift uneasily, their robes rustling as they hurried toward the exit, heads bowed like scolded kids.
