Ava’s POV Strong hands clamped onto my shoulders, and a low, reassuring voice sliced through the shadows. “Follow me, okay?” That tone sent a chill straight down my spine, rooting me to the spot. I couldn’t resist, so I let this unknown person lead me, already figuring it was a man from his deep murmur. We slipped away from the room’s entrance, my knees shaky like they could buckle any second.
