"In my head, I played a supercut of us." Lorde sang through Axel's earphones as he scrolled through his phone. His summer is very unproductive but at least his mental health wasn't being punished. "All the magic we gave off." It was the summer of 2020 when Axel started to fantasize about all of the possible places he could've went to, and all the possible memories he could've made. The reason he couldn't do any of the things he wanted to do was because of the pandemic. "All the love we had and lost." As someone not living in the moment, Axel started to reflect on his past love. His first love to be exact. How he swore that every bit of that moment was tasteful and painful. "And in my head, the visions never stop." Max, he was Axel's first love. Axel thinks he's already over him. As he was thinking of him, his phone buzzed as he received a new message from the said person. "How are you? I was just thinking of you." "These ribbons wrap me up" Of course, you did, I'm your best friend, Axel said in his thoughts. "But when I reach for you, there's just a supercut." "I'm doing fine, I hope you are as well. I miss you," Axel typed and pressed send. He groaned as he started his day. How can you start your day through this new normal? By remembering the past and reflecting on it.  This is all Lorde's fault. She and her stupid Supercut, he said to himself and sang along with it anyway.
