Ryan's POV

I shifted into my black wolf and ran over to my mate I mind linked our pack doctor to come up here, one of my warrior's attacked my mates little sister and killed her. I shifted back into my human form and held my mate, I saw the knife that was place in her stomach I stroked her golden brown hair out her face her skin was soft and smooth like butter I started crying I can't lose my mate even though she rejected me. I kissed Veronica in front of her, I felt so stupid and dumb.

Me and Veronica have been together for over 2 years her mate died when my father took us to war, my dad also died on that battlefield my mother died soon after due to grief, lets just say I was a wreck. As for Veronica she screwed with every male wolf she could of including me but she enjoyed me the most she'd always come in front me and the guys and sit on my lap she'd do things to make me screw her eventually she stopped playing around with other boys and focused soul hearted on me, she help me forget the pain I was in. That's why when she placed her hands around my neck and kissed me I forgot about my mate she made me forget, in this case she made me forget too much.

The doctor busted into the room and tried to take Rosaline from me but I growled at him "alpha I won't hurt her I promise" doctor Clayton took her from me and poured a purple fluid on her wound, she screamed out in agonizing pain I growled at the doctor and he reassured me it was to help her the bandaged her up and told me to stay close to her, I pick her up and placed her on the bed. I sighed and looked around the room wait...How are these walls gold ?what? I was confused these walls were always a burgundy colour.....

I walked out of her room and issued two guards in front her room. I walk into my room, the walls were black and the bed sheets were the darkest shade of red, I had a couch set that was also black and a conjoined office.
