*Next morning

Michael’s POV

I woke up to the sweet scented aroma of I don’t know what was being prepared I turned around to wake Dorothy up but she was nowhere to be seen maybe she is already up I told myself.

I wore my coat and left to the outer hall of the house but still I could see no one then I proceeded to the kitchen ,what I saw amazed me Dorothy was busily preparing breakfast with the help of that “unknown man “ judging from the aroma I could tell it was going to be a delicious one .

I offered to help but they said it wasn’t needed so I left to the hall to relax a bit. After sometime we served breakfast and set to eating.

Dorothy’s POV

It has been a long time I tasted something like this delicious, well I was more than contented after eating to my satisfaction.

After we finished eating and cleared the plates and everything I decided to ask the man his name and he said his name was Aston .

He resorted to telling us how he ended up living in this wild forest alone ,he said some years back he lost his entire family ,that is ,his wife his two sons and a daughter to a ghastly car accident but luckily he was the only one who survived afterwards he decided to isolate from people by coming to live here.

Indeed we felt sorry and sad for him .

He went on and asked why we are here in this forest too, that was when I narrated all the ordeals we faced before we arrived here till when he found us yesterday. We have been through a lot as you just heard from the narration and I know for sure those guys are still chasing us ,we have to leave here as soon as possible else we will endanger you if we continue to stay here .

Michael’s POV

So we might get going soon ,but when exactly should we leave Dorothy? What do you suggest?

Dorothy’s POV

I suggest we leave by noon that will be okay it will be the best time as we can still go further before night descends .

Michael’s POV

Settled then, we will leave by noon as said .

Dorothy’s POV

Well Mr Aston we cannot thank you enough for all you have done for us ,we appreciate all your efforts wholeheartedly. Now we would like to take our leave from here to continue with our journey we will surely keep you in mind and remember your kindness. Goodbye for now Sir .

Mr Aston’s POV

I have packed some fruits and food for you in that bag there , there is water too you can take it along with you it will keep you for some days .

Michael’s POV

Thank you Sir and please take care, Goodbye.

Mr Aston’s POV

I wish you a safe journey, I hope meet you some other time .Bye for now .

Dorothy’s POV

After exchanging pleasantries we finally took our leave .Hey Michael how do you feel now ? at least we have refreshed our energy. I just hope we can safely get there on time after all the things we have been through.

I am hopeful , you should also act more like a man you know ( laughs ).

Michael’s POV

Hey ,don’t make fun of me but just so you know I act like a man just that you are a bit courageous than me that’s all .(winks )

We should keep up our pace to move faster .

MLS ‘s POV

*Boss we still have not found any clue of them as to their whereabouts it seems they have gone farther than we thought, no trace of them can be found but I do not think they can survive under this conditions.

*Let’s keep moving, now we won’t chase them I have a sure way of tricking them .

They will definitely fall for my trap ,get everything ready I have a plan .Let’s see how long they can run from us .
