I woke up tangled in warm bodies.
For a second, I didn’t know where I was, then the bond hit me all at once. It was there under my skin, steady in my chest, three clear connections tying me to Greyson, Mason, and Jaxon. Stronger than anything I’d ever felt before. Calm. Certain. Like it had always existed and I was only now able to feel it properly.
‘Good morning,’ Kieran said in my head.
‘Morning.’
‘How do we feel?’
I took a second to think about it. My body was sore in places I expected it to be. Tired too. But underneath that was something deeper. A settled kind of happiness. Like something missing had finally been returned.
