Mia’s POV
I immediately closed my laptop, I didn't want to get angry at his words and how he thinks so low of me. He had been furious about my recent developments and noticed how he looked at the car Cage had got for me.
Needing to have my bath for the morning, I rushed to the bathroom for a quick shower. I had already packed a small bag with a few clothes and some books I had brought home from school.
After getting dressed, I carefully looked around the room to make sure I wasn’t leaving anything behind. The journey ahead was long, and I couldn’t afford to forget even a single book.
With my bag slung over my shoulder, I took a final look around. Before leaving, I pulled down the curtains, giving the room one last glance. Then, I walked out, not looking back.
