Talking about who Cage was to me wasn’t the best solution at that time, Lyra already knew who he was to my stepmother.
But on second thought she might think he was doing too much for me just as a stepfather relationship.
“The card isn’t really important Lyra, I just got it from someone,” I replied and placed my tray on the table sitting on the other hand of Nathan.
“I have known you for a long time now and when you talk like this, it only means one thing,” Lyra frowned with a slight smile at the tip of her lips. “It’s a guy, right? Do you have to hide him? C’mon!” She exclaimed.
I couldn’t help but laugh for a while, “are you jealous?” I muttered because that was the only explanation I could give for her actions.
