Without further delay, I hurriedly packed my books inside my bag and returned the book to the shelf. I was ready to leave already, I had to find a way to get to the museum before time.
As I zipped up my bag, I considered sending the address to Andrew, hoping he might help but dismissed the idea almost immediately. It was clear he didn’t want to be involved. Despite being assigned as my partner, I was on my own.
I thought about taking the book home to study it further, but I doubted they would let me, and there was no way to sneak it out without getting caught.
