Mia's POV
Cage and I left for the mall in haste. This was happening so fast. I didn't even have a choice but to join him. When he arrived, the saleswoman saw Cage and immediately recognized him.
“Mr. Cage, it is so nice to have you back with us. What can I help you with?” She asked, ignoring me.
I knew I wasn't worth his status but it stings being ignored. Cage ignored her and grabbed my hands, intertwining our fingers together. I was shocked and the woman's jaw went slack.
“Come, my dear,” he urged me and we walked together to another shop.
“Why are you bringing me here when we could have gotten what he wanted from that shop?” I asked him. With my few weeks of knowing Cage, I knew he doesn't do anything without having a plan so I knew there was a reason.
