Cage’s POV
“What's happening Tania? Do you think I will flirt around with Mia?” I angrily asked. She had become too suspicious of me and it made me panic.
I couldn't think of any other way than to get angry too. “Please hold on!” I called out and tried to stop.
Mia was in my living room waiting for her stepmother to show up but I had already ruined everything. I had told her Mia wasn't inside and of course, she would find her inside.
“I thought you said we were going out?” I asked with a corny smile on my face.
“Yes! But I don’t trust you. I want to see who you have inside.” She exclaimed and tended to press forward.
“There is no one there, I will just go and dress up. You can just wait here.” I muttered but she insisted on going inside.
