Mia’s POV
The game had finally come to an end, and Lyra and Nathan decided to head to the school cafeteria for lunch.
"Come on, join us," Lyra said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Aren’t you hungry?”
"I really can't eat now," I replied, shaking my head. "I am still full from earlier."
"Are you sure about that?" Lyra insisted. "We could just hang out for a bit since we don’t have anything serious to do."
I sighed, knowing what she meant. "I appreciate and would have loved to, but I have got some things to do. Spending more time here would just cost me a lot."
