A week later, Jason was discharged from the hospital and moved back into his old apartment, now under his mother’s insistence that he needed extra care. Although he was grateful for her support, he felt ready to resume his life. As he packed his belongings and said goodbye to his mother, she hugged him tightly. “Remember to take it easy,” she advised. “Don’t push yourself too hard.” Jason nodded, offering her a reassuring smile. “I will, Mom.
