Sitting atop a spherical structure beneath the shade of an unfamiliar entity, Mellisah felt a wave of longing for her home planet. With a heavy sigh, she whispered, "I miss home." She spent a few moments there, lost in her thoughts, before rising to search for her friend Mellisando. It was time to return to familiar territory, a place filled with cherished memories and family ties.
As she walked, Mellisah stumbled upon Mellisando on the path ahead. "What's with the solemn expression?" Mellisando inquired, noticing her friend's downcast demeanor. "Do you feel the pangs of loneliness too?" Mellisah responded with a question of her own. In a serious tone, Mellisando replied with a nod. Mellisah confessed her longing for her family back on Earth and expressed her desire to visit them. Mellisando's face contorted with confusion, then shifted to empathy. She asked if Mellisah was not enjoying her time on Uranus or if there was something else causing her distress. Overwhelmed with emotion, Mellisah broke down in tears. "I don't mean to upset you, but I really need to see my family," she pleaded. In an effort to distract her from her homesickness, Mellisando concocted a plan. However, she was hesitant to reveal a secret that could possibly shatter their friendship.
After much contemplation, Mellisando decided to confide in Mellisah. "Decades ago, your parents resided on this planet," she began, "They were deeply in love and lived a blissful life. One day, your mother ventured to Earth in search of sustenance. By mistake, she ended up in the royal palace of the great king." Mellisando continued to recount how her mother bravely faced the king, with her beauty and independence as her armor. She was subsequently captured and brought before the king. Ultimately, Mellisando had to reveal a shocking truth to her friend - that she was her long-lost twin sister.
With this revelation, Mellisah's thoughts and emotions were now in turmoil. She couldn't believe the news, but deep down, a flicker of recognition ignited within her. She feared the implications and ramifications of this news, but Mellisando reassured her that they would face any challenges together. The two sisters embraced, grateful to have each other on this unfamiliar planet. From that day on, they embarked on a journey of discovery, connected by their newfound sisterhood and a newfound love for their new home on Uranus.
