Upon hearing this exchange, Bridget and Clint sought solace in their mother and expressed their belief that their family members did not care for or love them. Mellisah, Mellisando, and the father were now the only individuals remaining in the dining room. Eager to uncover more secrets, Mellisah questioned her sister about the nature of her relationship with their father and why she had spoken ill of him in front of her children. In an apparent disregard for the earlier conversation held in her father's room, she feigned ignorance.
She vehemently denied speaking ill of their father, unless provoked by his furious behavior.
It is evident that she possesses knowledge about their father's recent change in behavior, which has been characterized by a long history of secrecy. This secrecy dates back to his relationship with her mother and persists until the present. She claims that their father does not harbor any love for them.
She proceeds to disclose a past incident involving their father's clandestine meeting with the king of Pluto, wherein they discussed the purchase of a newborn baby. Without informing their mother, their father negotiated a price of 25 powerful stars for the baby. Only two of these stars were given to her while she was still in her mother's womb, purportedly to enhance her power and strength. Upon discovering her husband's hidden secret, the mother fled before giving birth.
Consequently, their father was unable to deliver the baby and was compelled to return the price to the Pluto king. However, he failed to communicate this to the king, resulting in years passing without resolution.
Unexpectedly, one night, the Pluto king dispatched one of his enigmatic creatures to demand the long-awaited payment from their father. The ruler of Pluto, in a fit of rage, vowed to annihilate our father if he failed to deliver the baby this time. This is why the mysterious being appeared before you yesterday. The king sought you out because you possessed an extraordinary star within you, surpassing all the powerful stars owned by the world's kings.
