"He's really a piece of work, an absolute jerk!" she shouted.
For so long, I'd been holding everything in.
Now, watching my friend defend me stirred something inside me, and a small weight lifted.
"I will go and denounce him before the Alpha Council of the Realm, in front of the Circle of Elder Alphas." My voice was low but determined.
"It'll be a long way to go. I mean, to denounce an Alpha is like shooting for the moon. He will be exiled from the Realm and become a rogue." Elise looked at me seriously. "You'll need hard evidence to show the council."
