Selina's POV
I was dumbfounded.
"Tomorrow? Why don't you say it earlier?" I was in total shock and suddenly felt the pressure.
"Well, you seemed high-spirited. I didn't wanna be a buzz killer." He winked at me as he stood up. "Plus, you didn't ask either."
"But there will be no time to prepare for it. I need to introduce our pack and our company to them and to convince them. And..." I was getting a bit anxious and began to rattle on.
"Alright, alright. Babe. Look at me." He grabbed my arms gently and tried to calm me down. "You can do this. You were good at this before, remember?"
He looked at me with a soft gaze. For a moment, I felt as if we had gone back to the time before, the time we worked hard together, and encouraged each other whenever facing difficulties.
