Early the next morning, Erick walked in, the young doctor I had seen the day before.
"Morning, Luna Selina. I'm Nora's doctor. Well, we met yesterday." He stepped in with both his hands linked in front of him. "Ah, is she awake? I wanna give her another check-up to see if I can discharge her from the Center," he said politely.
"Oh..." I sat up in the chair, rubbed my eyes, still feeling a little drowsy, since I had barely slept last night. "Sure... Ah, I'll wake her up. Thanks."
"Nora." I patted her shoulder gently. "Nora, the doctor is waiting for you. You need to get up now."
"Mommy... Is it time for school?" She lifted her sleepy eyes and asked in a small voice.
