We looked around as she led the way and showed us each room in the house, and also the small garden outside.

After the room tour, the three of us sat cross-legged on the fluffy rug in the living room.
Selina prepared fruits and snacks for us. We chatted and enjoyed the food together.
"So, are you doing OK?" Elise asked and suddenly turned to look at me.
"Well, yeah... Why do you ask?" I pretended to be calm.
"That day, at the Cure Center, you seemed..." She stopped briefly. "We grew up together, and you're my best friend all my life. So, you can tell me anything. I mean, if anything is bothering you..." She sounded sincere.
