After ending conversations with Ronan, Lyra hurried to Pandra’s quarter to get the King's meal. As she reached the door, she flung it open to see the served tray on the centre table, “Pandra!!” she called out but didn't hear her voice.
She approached the tray and checked to be sure it was the King's meal, and as expected, she grabbed it and hurried out of the room. The King's Kyrennei was losing it due to its cravings for raw bloody meat.
Even as she left, she expected to at least meet Pandra along the passageway, but she only met the guards. She didn't mind, so she hurried out of her quarters, heading to the king's chamber.
Ronan was waiting when she arrived, so he took it from her and rushed into the king's chamber where he served the meal and came out immediately.
