I stared at her little fragile body, something happened, something I have never seen before in my life, I would be a fool if I told anyone about this.
My eyes darted to her as Maria stood beside her, the moment she fell, it took me a few minutes to get Maria, I had to come in terms with what I saw.
“How is she?.” I asked.
“Better, she seemed tired, maybe that’s why she fainted, her body is filled with drugs and water , and she is not even eating properly, standing so much could lead to her fainting.” Maria said and I nodded. “What happened? What did you say to her?.”
“Nothing.” I mumbled. No one can know what happened in this room, no one can ever know what she tried to do and what I saw.
“But Alpha, she has- I don’t care what she has, take care of her wounds and apply something on her arms.” I said cutting her off, she had a bruise on her arm, one that I caused her and I had a bruise from falling, one that no one can know about.
I paced across the room as Maria took care of her, will she remember what she did? I saw something in her to which is impossible because she is born without a wolf and she has passed the age where there could be a possibility of her ever having a wolf, by the time any wolf turns twenty- one, their powers become more permanent and so does their strength, you can’t get any stronger after that.
Arabella and Natalie are over nineteen, I knew that much.
I could never forget the way she looked at me, the way her eyes turned purple, a shade of purple I have never seen, no one is purple; I have seen black, I have seen brown and in rare cases, I have seen white, only one bloodline has white and no one even goes anywhere close to them, they are every secretive and they love to be in their own space, I respected that because no one came close to my Clan or tried to disrespect me
But Arabella did today. She did what many of my wolves can’t even do, she pushed me off my feet and on to the ground, something that has never happened in my twenty-eight years of living, her strength was one that I could never seen before, I felt the danger when she looked into my eyes, like she could see through my soul.
If she could do this, how did she get hurt? If she could do this, how is she considered powerless and Wolfless, if she has a wolf, I didn’t feel it now, but I felt it when she stared at me, now that she is unconscious, it was like she was the same old fragile girl
“She will be awake tomorrow, and when she is, just get me, I will make sure she takes the drugs.” Maria said and I nodded
I have known Maria for a while and she felt like family to me, like an older sister, we had a basis relationship and mutual respect.
My eyes darted between Maria and sleeping Arabella, what if someone upset her again, and she tried to what she did to me, there are no words that will calm my clan, they will want she dead, no one wants a mystery.
“Get her things, move them to my room, get one of the wolves to help you.” I said
“Alpha Nathan, that’s inap- I didn’t ask.” I said cutting her off. “Have it done right now, move her to my room, make sure no one enters my room except for you and me, and you, only when you give her the meal, you don’t have to wait around for her to eat and let it be a plastic cutlery with plastic paper plates.” I said
I had to be careful, something triggered inside of her today and I know it was me, I didn’t want any more mistakes from happening.
“No one want want her in your room.”
“I am the Alpha, I don’t care about what anyone wants or not; I do what I think is the best and I think this is the best, have it done before I get back.”
There was a text laying on my screen and I knew Marcus had found out something, something that can be of help, I wish I could tell Marcus about this but I can’t, he will overreact and the last thing I need is that
Maria stared at me again hoping I will change my mind and I looked away, she knows better than to not listen to me.

“What did you find out Marcus?.” I asked the moment I walked into the office, unlike the other Beta, Marcus lived in, he had his own floor, because we worked closely with each other.
“Her father Darius, he didn’t disown her, after Alpha Luca rejected her, Alpha Luca offered to marry Natalie and they are married, they got married in the same alter he and Arabella were supposed to marry.”
I paused as I stared at him
That felt wrong,
I was right when I said Natalie betrayed her sister, what I didn’t know was that, that is the betrayal, how could she do that?
“How did you find out?” I asked.
“The mole we placed in their town reported back, he has been in hiding because Darius is suspicious something is wrong and I asked him to stay on the low.”
“After what happened, he asked her to leave didn’t he?” I asked
“He asked his wolves to kill her, they failed at it, she must have ran so fast and hid they could not find her.”
I doubted she ran, if it were an hour ago, I will believe she ran but now I worry she killed them and she doesn’t even realize it.
