Some believe this to have been the source of the Rubicon, having been translated into the Romagnolo dialect Urgon, meaning Rubicon, while they should have said Rubgon or even Urbgon, if they really wanted to translate the word directly into Romagna and, in any case, few have noted that Urgon meant Gorgon or witch in ancient Etruscan and that the sources of the Urgon arise in a place called Strigara (the witch, also strix ara, witch's altar), while nearby there is another place called Gorgoscuro (dark Gorgon).
