Abhiudey POV The next morning, I dressed up and wanted to leave earlier so that I hadn't faced Risha. When I went downstairs, I saw, she was sleeping on the dining table. She- she really waited for me whole night! No, it's not time to think that. Leave early. But did my luck ever give me company. A vase fell on the floor, cause of my contact. And in it's sound Risha woke up. When she saw me leaving, she blocked my way. Damn she is fast. “You can't leave without breakfast,” she told me sternly. I was about to say something, when her phone rang. Good now I can leave. But she had other intention. She held my hand tightly and pushed me towards the chair and pick up the call. “Hi, mum-mum.” Now who is mum-mum? “Yeah, I finished my dinner, mum-mum. I told you Abhi was cooking, right?” Wait. Didn't she told her boyfriend that? “I will call you later, sweetheart. Bye. Love you.” Sweetheart! She was talking to the mum-mum last night. Whoever she is, she is definitely not her boyfriend. “Sit here quietly. I will make something for you and don't try to ran away,” she told me sternly and went to make breakfast. She came back after 1 hour later with muffins, cookies, cheese pasta and coffee. She served me and went to sit on a chair and I saw her wobbling. I instantly caught her and made her sit. “You okay?” I asked her worrily. I saw, she was holding her stomach with both of her hand and kept her head on the table. Now I started panicking. “Do you want me to call Andrew? Let me get you hospital.” “Abhi, can’t you sit down calmly,” she told me. “How do you expect me to calm down? Wait I am taking you to the hospital.” I told her firmly “ABHI! Iamonmyperiod,” she screamed. What language is it! “What!” “I am on my period and didn't eat anything last night. That’s why I felt dizzy. I am absolutely okay. Trust me,” she ensured me. “Well, you might have important meetings. Finish your breakfast quickly else you will be late,” she added. How can she expect me to leave her in this condition? I placed my hand on the table forcefully. Risha winched at it. “Now, you are going to eat,” I told her. “Abhi, I will eat later. I didn't feel hungry,” she argued. But I am not going to listen. I sat beside her and took the bowl of pasta. “Open you mouth,” I ordered her holding the spoon in front of her mouth. She went to tell something then I pushed it in her mouth. I kept feeding her until the bowl was empty. Then I took my phone and called Andrew. “Take a leave for Risha. She won't going to the hospital for few days,” I informed him when he picked up and then cut the call. “I am going to the hospital. I am not sick. I am totally fine,” she exaggerated. “Are you kidding? You are totally fine! You can't even stand up properly and you want to go to the hospital!” I yelled at her. “Fine. I am not going. Then you have to promise me you will eat properly from today. If not then I am going,” she really had to do that? “Ok,” I murmured with a sigh. And she grinned. I told her to go to her room after breakfast, precisely I took her. Then I went to my study room. I didn't went to the office. It's the 2nd time in years that I didn't went office, and staying at home. 1st time was my wedding day. After a few hours later I went to the kitchen and saw Risha there. “What are you doing here. I told you not to step down from your bed,” I told her. “I was making lunch,” she told me. God, what should I do with this girl! “And you think, I will eat your awful food. You should know that you are the worst cook ever,” I insulted her skills, but it wasn't true. Her cooking skill is fabulous. Her food is delicious. But I am Abhiudey Knight, not her Abhi. I can't praise her now. “Sit here. I will cook,” I told her. “Ok,” she murmur and sat on the kitchen bar. After making food for us, we finished our lunch silently. I didn't let Risha go to hospital for next 2 days and I also worked from home. It's been months since that day. And I decided to let my guard down for her. I can't see her pain so in one way or other I will get hurt. So I wanted to take a risk and want to live the remaining 6 months happily with her. Then when she will leave, I will spend my rest of the life with our happiest memories. But I am still not ready to be her Abhi. I am still cold towards her. But I don't think I can be anymore, cause today we are invited to my father's mansion for dinner. Her parents will also be there. She haven't talked to them since our wedding, which was 4 months ago. Her parents can hurt her again. And I won't allow them. I became protective to her day by day. We were in my Mercedes, going to my dad's place. She seemed nervous. She was looking gorgeous as always in her long floral designer dress. Her hair was open fall on her waist in a wave. She did a little make-up. She has natural beauty, she doesn't need that. Though she was looking pretty. While admiring her beauty, I didn't realize when we got there. We get out of the car. Realizing her hesitation, I hold her hand tightly and went inside. When she looked at me in a questioning gaze. I told her we were pretending in front of our parents. When she saw her parents were sitting inside with my father, she grabbed my arm unawarely. I pulled my hand away from her, and wrapped my hand around her shoulder and pulled her closer to me. I had kept her closer during dinner. Her parents started conversation with her but she ignored them. During the dinner the whole conversation was between my Dad and her parents. Looks like that was more business dinner than family. Risha was quite the whole time. “Risha, dear, you can talk to your parents in one of our rooms if you want,” my dad told Risha after dinner. No way I am going to let her alone with them. She beared a lot of pain because of them. “They can talk here. No need to go anywhere. And I don't trust them anyway,” I told my dad in front of them. I saw his expression change into darker one. He clenched jaw and fist. “This is not what I teach you, Abhiudey,” Dad told me in his darkest voice. Which is enough to make some one kneeled. But I passed that label a long time ago. “They deserved that,” I told him with the same tone. Suddenly I felt a soft hand on my arm. I looked down and saw Risha was looking at with pleading eyes. “Come with me for sometime,” she whispered and I nodded. I took her in a corner of the living room. “Abhi, don't worry. I will be okay. They are my parents. They won't hurt me again,” she told me with a reassuring smile which didn't reach her eye. Who is she kidding with! They already hurt her before. They can do that again. “I don't trust them,” I mumbled. “But you trust me, right? Let them talk. Please,” she pleaded with her eyes which I can't deny. I took deep breath to calm myself then nodded. Then left with her parents to ‘talk’ with them. After a long time, when they didn't return I went upstairs to check on Risha. “And you think, I am some kind of product which you can use for your benefit! You really called yourself a parents after what you did?” I heard Risha screamed at her parents, when I was outside of the door. “Risha, don't scream at your parents like that,” her mom warned her. How dare She! She was screaming at My wife! “Now consider your daughter is dead for you. I don't want you as my parents. Now leave!” Risha hissed at them. Great job wifey. “You...” “Let it go for now. We are at Knight’s place. Think about what we told you, we will talk later,” her dad told her stopping her mom. ‘Yeah like I am going to let you talk after that.’ I mused. When they left I saw Risha fell down on ground and she broke down. I was about to go to her, when she took her phone and called someone. “Mum-mum...” She whispered. I don't know who the ‘mum-mum’ is, but she is important to her. I was looking at her, when a servant came. “Sir, your father wants to talk to you,” the servant informed me. Great. Now what he want! I looked at Risha one last time and left with the servant.
