Agrippa could see that the alcove was already occupied by a trio who were intertwined with each other, the candlelight glinting off of their dark, sweat-slicked skin. He looked away, ashamed at his initial interest. Haqiaka clapped her hands and the group quickly dispersed. She pulled him further into the room and tossed the blue silks onto one of the cushioned seats before turning back to him. He stared in horror at the residue left on the cushions by the departing group and then at Haqiaka whose hands had already begun to deftly remove his cape. “Please.” He reached out and stilled her hands. “Let me dress myself.” She frowned slightly and stepped back from him.
