The Strong One

They were standing 3 miles away but even at such a distance the huge blue light was clearly seen when it crashed the ground and killed all of them. The head mage came forward and started to explain, "Your highness, it seems that there is a high ranking mage who is helping them..." The prince who was actually a bastard didn't care about the explanation. He was just closing his eyes and thinking if a best way to punish him. But he couldn't possibly kill him since he was a head mage! "Damn, shut the f**k up. I am tired with this shit." He was quite arrogant and kept on trash talking then he immediately and suddenly recalled what the head mage had said just 2 minutes ago. "Did you just say that there was a high ranking mage helping them?" He was suddenly surprised when he thought about it. "Why would a human help ogres?", he wasn't able to figure out anything. It was not only him who was shocked by this, even the other men were stunned after they looked at the destructive power the mage helping the ogres had. "Hmm, do you think that this mage is being controlled by the ogres?" The prince was smart even though he was a bastard. He could understand things easily and could make plan and everything perfectly. His strategies have never failed. Even in terms of magic and power, he was considered as a genius in his kingdom. His looks was also awesome and everyone would like to have the capabilities that he was gifted with. One could say that he was perfect but there was only one fault in him and that was his personality. His so called personality was indeed a trash thanks to which he was completely merciless and fully arrogant. He had a very big ego and his pride was also too much. Those were the main reasons why he was considered as a bastard.  "hmm, but the ogres aren't so smart enough to use magic of that degree.." To be able to control a human or other species, a high level of CRYSTALLITE and high level of spells were required that could either hypnotize them or could control them directly. So it was likely impossible for the ogres to do something like this. And also it is highly impossible to control a high level mage with just these things so it was indeed weird. After thinking for quite sometime, the prince finally came to one conclusion and that was really unpredictable. "Is the mage really a human or... a dragon or something?" Dragons were said to be highly intelligent creatures that could manifest into human form after they have reached a high level. They do that in order to experience a human's life and during that time they are mostly vulnerable. But this happens only few times since most of the dragons can immediately manifest their real form anytime and anywhere when they sense the danger. "Send another wave of trolls, let's see if this really is a dragon or some human..." He thought that if it was a dragon, it wouldn't be partial and protect the trolls too. However if it really was a human then it would kill all the trolls again. Immediately another set of trolls was sent who were like test objects to the prince. "Grrrr...." They ran all over again due to which the ground started shaking again. Rin and the ogres weren't aware of this since they were engaged in the party that they were celebrating due to their joy of defeating the trolls. The village chief immediately came forward and started to discuss some matters with Rin. "Excuse me master, I have something important to tell you about..." Rin allowed him to come closer and tell clearly and properly about the matter that they were speaking of.  "We need to leave this settlement and move somewhere else..." Rin was suddenly surprised by what the chief said. He too had been thinking about it till now. "Hmm, can you tell me why it is so necessary for us to escape and leave this place?" The old man didn't think much and said it instantly, "Even though you have saved us right now master, I don't think those human will stop attacking... so it's better to leave from here as soon as possible..." Rin now understood perfectly the reason for the ogres to have successfully survived till now. All the credits should have been given to the chief since his decision making capacity was extraordinary! He smiled a bit and said, "Very well, I will find a place for you all to stay..." He went towards the hut that was for him and immediately started to think the best place for the ogres when he suddenly remembered a forest! "Ya, it's good if all the ogres live together and build a kingdom for themselves..." It was indeed a good idea. The ogres were someone who used to divide themselves and settle in different tribes. So basically they were all scattered due to which they were easily hunted. "Why didn't I think about this earlier...?" He basically got this idea from a small phrase 'United We Stand, Divided We Fall' . So when he remembered that phrase, he also remembered the strong point of the ogres which was basically living in groups. He immediately rushed back towards the area where they were having fun to say this when suddenly he felt the same tremor as that of earlier again. It seemed as if some more trolls were forced to run rampant and trample everything at their sight. The trolls were rushing directly towards the settlement when Rin closed his eyes and looked carefully at the ogres who were having fun. "I don't want them to be sad and cower in fear again...", is what he said and immediately after that without informing anyone about the problem, he himself rushed to the area where he was standing earlier. "I have to face them... since I AM THE STRONG ONE..." To Be Continued...
