Two Days Later
After talking to Will and explaining our situation, he said there was really nothing that could be done unless I feared I was at risk of bodily harm. I didn’t have the fear that Kyle would physically hurt me and I didn’t want to lie because it would make me just as bad as him.
“So, there’s nothing Will can do then?” Matt asked.
“Apparently not,” I grumbled into the phone.
Lexi and Hayley would be arriving any moment for our girl’s night and I was trying to get everything cleaned up in a hurry. Matt was livid when I told him about my visit from Kyle, but if I really wanted to pursue a restraining order against him then there was a chance he wouldn’t get to fight him.
