SAMANTHA'S POV I opened the folder and saw it was a folder containing loopholes in transactions, with missing figures nowhere to be found. "That is the transaction history of my company for the past two years. What I need from you is to be my eyes and ears." She said to me. "This lesson I will tag it observation. Anything that you hear or see report to me or Katherine." She added. "Can you do it?" She asked as she studied my face for quite some time. "I will not let you down." I spoke without hesitation. "Good." She remarked. "I will introduce you to everyone later. We are keeping your job as my secretary on a low profile for now. I'll be introducing you as my protégée, okay?" She said as I nodded in agreement with every word she said. "I will not let you down." I said once more. "I sure hope not." She said with a smile. "Due to the current position you're in, some things will have to change. For example your phone and your dressing. I am doing this not because I want to change you but because I don't want you to be bullied." She added politely. Katherine brought out a brand new phone and handed it to me as my eyes widened. "Some clothes are in your room, I examined your style and picked accordingly. I hope they will be to your liking." She was fully prepared for my stay here. "Thank you very much, Miss Margo." I said as she nodded with a warm smile and light nod. "Please show her to her room." She said to Katherine. "This would be your room. Hope you like it?" Katherine said as she pushed open the door. I was speechless when I saw where I would be sleeping. "Whoa." I said out loud unconsciously. "If you need anything, just come find me or ask any of the maids around you." Katherine said as she closed the door behind me. As soon as she left, I started touring my new room. It was very spacious and elegant compared to my rental. This room was four times the size of my rental. I opened one of the doors in the room, and there were all sorts of shoes, bags, and clothes in there. That room was as big as one room at the orphanage. The next door was leading to the bathroom, and the bathroom left me more shocked. In my whole entire life, I never knew a bathroom could be as pretty as what was before me. It had a beautiful sink with a mirror, then going deeper, there was a standing shower, close to it, a bathtub, and at the far corner lied the WC. When I came out of the bathroom, I really looked at the room itself. There was an air conditioner at a corner of the room. There was also a vanity area. A king-sized bed was placed in the middle of the room, I really wanted to pounce on the bed, but there was one more door left to open. I walked towards the door, eyes closed. I prepared to surprise myself with what was behind the door. I twisted the knob and as I opened my eyes, I was dumb founded. This was a library, books everywhere. I was so happy. This was the room I would go missing in for hours. I walked around the room, and there was a small cabinet for snacks, where I could make coffee and also get water as well as drinks. "This was totally amazing." I whispered to myself. I went back to the main room and immediately crashed on top of the bed. This was my first time meeting luxury. Miss Shelly's compulsory lesson was now paying off. Back in the days since we were living far from luxury, but it was close, she made us take lessons on identifying expensive items. Once we've never seen, that was why naming many of the stuff in my room was easy. NARRATOR'S POV Samantha fell asleep after some time lying on the bed. The bed was softer than anything she had ever laid on ever since she could remember. After three hours of rolling and unconscious smiling, she finally woke up. When she woke up, she immediately checked the time. It was twenty-five past four. She was about panicking when she realised she was no longer at the orphanage. She stood up and went to take a nice shower. After her bath, she went down to the ground floor. There, she saw Katherine, who was walking towards her. "Hey there. I was just coming to check on you." Katherine said to her. "Oh, thank you. I fell asleep and did not hear my alarm ring." Samantha explained, trying not to leave any bad impressions. "No worries. Early dinner is being served." Katherine told her. "Is there a dinner after early dinner?" Samantha asked. "For those who feel hungry afterwards, yes." Katherine replied. "Does the early dinner happen all the time?" Sam asked another question. "No, not all the time. Only when there are announcements." Katherine responded. Sam just nodded. They got to the table, and Katherine made her way to her seat. "What are you still doing here?" Rose asked with an annoyed look as Samantha just stood amongst many eyes. "Samantha, welcome. Sit." Margo said, pointing to a seat close to a boy's chair. With quick steps, she made her way to her chair.
