It Hasn't Even Been An Hour

The sound of the atmospheric barrier breaking silently echoed in the clouds as the girls entered Earth's atmosphere with unrelenting force. They landed painfully on top of each other, hitting the ground so hard, they caused a massive hole in the ground. They sucked in a breath as their souls returned to their bodies, choking on the dust particles floating around them in the process. The sound of their ears ringing was replaced by the loud honking of cars and construction noises. Galaxius rolled off of everyone, as she was at the top of the pile, and stood up. She helped everyone else up as well. They all held their throbbing heads and groaned in pain. The cloud of dust surrounding them cleared up, revealing a crowd full of people surrounding them and were recording them. "What in the world of...", Galaxius trailed off as she looked around at the hundreds of people surrounding them. All of the people were staring at them in shock, and whispering among each other. Galaxius frowned as she caught sight of the devices in the people's hands. She activated her powers, eyes and hands glowing a bright, fiery orange as she felt threatened by them. People gasped and took a step back. "Galaxius no!" Astra grabbed her shoulder to calm her down. "They are not weapons. Just cellular devices. I have scanned them. They pose no threat." "Then why do they aim them at us?", she asked, still looking around. "They are documenting us in graphic form." "THEY WHAT?!" Galaxius took in a deep breath and through her mouth, exhaled a massive heatwave, melting all electronics in a 50 meter radius. People dropped their scorching hot phones on the ground and watched as they melted into pathetic puddles of plastic. Astra's mouth was hanging in shock, just as everyone else. "What did you just do?" "Rule number one... be discreet." Galaxius replied and placed her hands on her hips as the wind blew at her head. The other princesses gave her a dry look. "You just used your powers." "Yes, but for a good cause," she shrugged, "We promised our parents we wouldn't scare this foreign civilisation." Astra opened her mouth to say something, but she shut it again with a sigh. "Nope. Not worth it." "Let's just find ourselves an educational institution so we can absorb knowledge on this place," Proteus said before passing a look to Galaxius, "before we embarrass ourselves further." Galaxius rolled her eyes. "Hey guys, I think I can see one over there," Sara spoke, diverting everyone's attention, "it says 'library', with a massive book sculpted out of stone." "I'm surprised they have libraries here," Adonis commented. "Should we fly there?" Galaxius asked. "Not the best idea, Gal." Luna said. "We may have exposed ourselves a bit but we still have to remain discreet. No unwanted attention." "Yeah, and it's not that far from what I'm estimating." Sara said, looking in the direction of the Library once more. Galaxius sighed. "Okay then. We will walk." "Then conquer the hearts of men we find interest in." Adonis said. "Right. That too." › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › The small bell above the door rang as it opened. The people in the whole facility whipped their heads around to gaze upon the goddesses who had just entered. Gasps and murmurs broke out among them, while the princesses looked around at the mecca of books. "Where do we start looking?" Proteus asked. "Uhhm, what are we even looking for?" "Men. We are wasting our time in this stuffy room," Adonis chastised. "Could you pipe down for a second? We're getting to that." Astra hissed. Adonis huffed and rolled her eyes, which landed on a man sitting by a desk. An idea hatched in her mind and a smirk graced her face. "I will be back in a moment," she said and made a beeline towards the man who had his nose in a book, while she completely muted her sisters out. She ran her hands over her scandalous homeland outfit. She was in a creamy white dress made out of thin sheath material, with a golden belt at her waistline and jewelry made out of gold and rubies adorning her modelesque body. It was short and almost see-through, leaving little to the imagination. Upon reaching the librarian, she leaned over his desk and lowered his book gently with her index finger, and found the man to be quite handsome. He had curly, golden blonde hair and shining blue eyes and small pale, pink lips. He didn't even have time to react as Adonis pulled him by his tie and planted her lips onto his, letting her lips do what they did best before she pulled away. "Hello," she said in a sultry voice. "H-Hi," the bookkeeper stuttered with his eyes completely dilated, "how can I help you?" She chuckled, "My sisters over there and I are looking for books that could give us information on this world. Could you tell us what they are and where to find them?" She fluttered her doe, cherry red eyes sweetly. "S-sure. That aisle over there has all the dictionaries and atlases, and computers are over there." he said pointing to certain places, his blue eyes not leaving Adonis'. "Thank you, Gerald. You were a great help," she said and gave him a wink before she turned around and went back to the other princesses. "How did she know my name?" he whispered to himself as he watched her leave. "Why did she kiss me?" >>>>> Adonis approached her sister's who had watched the entire scenario play out with jaws that couldn't seem to close anymore. "Well, map books and dictionaries are over there, telecommunication devices are over there," Adonis said nonchalantly, ignoring her sisters' crazed stares. "It hasn't even been an hour, and you're already kissing strangers," Galaxius said in disbelief. "It's what I do, Gal. I don't even know why you people still get surprised by this." Adonis said. "Anyway, get to info-sucking while I get to know that cutie I just kissed a little better. I already kissed the knowledge out of him." "Never say info-sucking again, for the sake of us all," Astra said, her mind going to dark places. Aaliyah giggled. "It's quite humorous. Info-sucking..." she tasted the words in her mouth, "info-sucking, info-sucking, info-" "STOP THAT!" The others snickered under their breaths. Astra glared at them. ~~~~ "Okay, is everyone ready?" Gal asked as she looked between the other princesses. They were all standing in a circle around a pile of dictionaries, atlases and a few novels... preparing to start their knowledge-attaining ritual. They all nodded. "Ready." They lifted their palms up in the direction of the books. Their hands glowed with their dedicated colours as they started chanting a spell in Spectroway's ancient language. Soon their feet lifted off the ground as they began spinning in a rotary motion, like they were ghosts in a washing machine. People all around watched with fascination and awe. A blinding light coming from them, caused everyone to look away. The light died down and the moment their feet touched the ground, the library doors burst open and men in black armour came flocking in, their guns aiming towards the princesses. "EVERYBODY FREEZE! DON'T MOVE!" Men in suits came in, pointing much smaller guns at them. They frowned. "May we ask why?" Gal asked. "You're under arrest for destruction of public property." The chief of the SWAT team said. "Royalty cannot be put in custody, can it?" Astra asked Proteus. "No. But I'm not sure if this applies in this part of the quadriverse." "Should I seduce them?" Adonis asked. "I do like the looks of the man in the black suit's gorgeous body." She eyed the agent shamelessly. "That would take way too much time." "Venom?" "Can your snakes take them all in one go?" Gal asked. "They are a little too dispersed. It might take a while-" "Hands in the air ladies!" The officer repeated once again. Luna frowned. "That's rude, sir. Would you like it if I cut you off in the middle of an epiphany?" "I'm not going to repeat myse- ah!" The venom flew so fast into his eyes, his head jerked back. He held his damaged eye as the SWAT team tackled them to the ground. "DO NOT RESIST!" "Okay, but do you have to be so loud?" Medusa groaned as they cuffed her up, along with the others. "Where are you taking us?" Aaliyah huffed. "CIA Headquarters, miss. Where else would we take you?" "Your chambers, of course," Adonis said in a 'duh' tone. The other princesses sighed with exasperation. "It hasn't even been an hour," Sara mumbled under her breath.
