They Call Themselves The Milky-way

The last family arrived at SGAI, entering the hall. Galaxius walked in front of her parents and immediately spotted her friends. They all looked utterly pissed. Either they were in the same dilemma as her, or they were annoyed for other reasons. "Queen Gaia, King Ra," King Thoth spoke and went closer to them, bowing his head at them. Gaia and Ra nodded. "Thank you for joining us. This is now a matter of urgency. I see Princess Galaxius-Io is just as unhappy as the others." Galaxius snorted, getting a pinch on the arm from her mother. She sulked and rubbed the spot, though barely feeling any pain. Thoth gave Gaia and Ra a knowing look. "Let me guess... she wants to rule on her own?" Gaia and Ra sighed and simultaneously said, "Indeed." "What's wrong with you people? Can't you support a little feminine power?" Galaxius hissed. "It's no longer feminine power when you start rejecting young men for a habit," King Zeus chimed in, giving his daughter Astra an intent look. Astra rolled her vivid purple eyes. Galaxius sighed. "Are you going to determine a verdict in front of us or can we chill somewhere else?" All the parents looked at her. She rolled her eyes. "Let me rephrase... do we get to have a say in what you're about to say?" "Why no, dear." her father replied. "Awesome. We'll be somewhere else then. Tell us when you think you've found the right solution." "Excuses me, think?" "I mean no offense, Queen Athena, but there's no way we're going to find 'the ones' in this world," Galaxius said before turning around and heading to the elevator, the other princesses following her. The Kings and Queens passed looks between each other. "Perhaps I did not bless them with enough passion?" Venus shrugged. » » » "I still don't understand why on Spectroway Galaxy marriage is supposed to keep the peace." Galaxius huffed as she spun around on the office chair next to the table. "Neither do I, I was literally experiencing peace an hour ago with the assistance of nature at my fingertips before I was dragged here," Medusa added as she emptied a packet of corn seeds into a golden bowl. She looked at Galaxius, "Do you mind helping out?" Galaxius's lazy gaze went to the bowl of corn Medusa was holding out. With just her eyes, she effortlessly heated the bowl and within seconds the seeds were popping, forming popcorn. Yes, their galaxy had popcorn. "Thanks." "You know," Sara spoke as she floated on her back in mid air, "I could just eternally meditate for peace, but my parents seem to think falling for somebody is more important. Peace is experienced when you're alone." The other girls murmured in agreement. "My mother actually suggested I sing to a man to get him to fall in love with me. Can you believe that?!" Luna chided. "That," Medusa said and chucked a piece of popcorn into her mouth, "is toxic." "Well, while you guys might think you don't need a man," Phoebe chimed in, "my powers depend on it. I could be..." she dramatically choked on the word, "barren." "I play the game of love quite well," Adonis said, "so well that they all pine for me. But, they're all just my play things. None of them are worth keeping. My problem is I keep seducing everyone I meet." "Guys find my level of knowledge and discipline overwhelming. They say Adonis' father gave me too much fierceness AND they want me to tone it down." Proteus huffed. "They only say that because they lack the knowledge that you possess," Galaxius said, "trust me. I should know." "What about you, Astra?" They all looked towards Astra who was busy at the control panel. "The moment a guy opens his mouth, I mute him. Simple. Though my parents say it's become an annoying habit of mine." "Man I wish..." Galaxius said, "I'm sick of hearing the same comment a billion times. 'Your skin is so magnificent, and it gives me life like the powers of the Lifestone... your burning eyes melt my emotions...'" she gagged, "Utterly repulsive." "But he speaks the truth," Adonis said and looked Galaxius up and down with a dangerous glimmer in her fiery red eyes, "If I were not of the straight matter, I would seduce you into my chambers too." "Ew." Galaxius spun around in her chair and stopped, looking at the screen where a foreign galaxy was shown and Astra was busy. She stood up and went to stand by Astra's side. "What is this?" She looked in awe at the beautiful planets that were aligned, with a ball of orange fire bigger than the planets in the centre. "Another galaxy," Astra said, "They call themselves the Milky-way." Medusa laughed. "Why in Spectroway would they do that? It sounds ridiculous." Astra shrugged. "They, like us have eight planets. Oddly enough, some are named after our parents and relatives." Galaxius studied the one with blue and green with scattered clouds over it. "What's that one over there?", she pointed at it, "the one that looks like San-Flora-Faunas, Mauritio and Ethos combined?" Astra tapped a few things on the control panel." That would be... Earth." "Like my mother's maiden name?" "Yes." The others' interested were piqued and they too went to look at the strange planet. "Is there life on this... earth?" "They seem to have satellites so I'd like to think so. Do you want me to intercept them?" "YES." They all said in unison. Astra worked on the control panel and soon a few images showed, depicting a few cities and quiet areas. "Wow...", they all chanted in awe. Medusa gasped and pointed at a panel. "What is that place? It looks so much like your home Elon." "They call themselves Japan. Situated in a region called Asia." "Wow. They have beautiful men," Adonis says. "Indeed," The others agree. Proteus points to another panel. "What is that area?" "That is London. They have a queen just like us. She's really young but she looks like she would be my grandmother's age. It is situated in the vicinity of what they call the United Kingdom, on the region of Europe." "United Kingdom?" Galaxius makes a face, "Were they ever a segregated Kingdom?" "I have no knowledge of that-" Phoebe gasped pointing to another region. "What about that place?" "They have the same skin colour as you," Proteus chides. "That would be Africa. Lots of gold there, but it seems they are running out. Lots of corruption too. A sad place." "How unfortunate," Adonis says, truly feeling pain for them. "Whoa, what about that place?" Sara says with pure curiosity. "That would be New York. Statistics say its a really dangerous place. Lot's of corruption and injustice, but they're more comfortable than Africa." "The men there look dark, dangerous. Can the satellite describe that to me?" "I'm afraid not. We'd have to go there ourselves to get that type of information." "Do they have any men in the sea?" Luna asked. "Unfortunately not. Just creatures." "Hmm. Okay." Galaxius tapped her chin in thought. "Well, it seems as though we have little to no knowledge about this planet that dare uses my mother's maiden name.... The specimen are quite interesting and it's structure is very peculiar. We do not know if they may pose a threat to our world..." "What are you saying, sister Galaxius?" "Maybe we should explore it. We all have seen something we liked, yes?" They all agreed. "Who knows, maybe we are to find our kings there?" "Yes, but will our parents agree to it? They seem to be, I don't know... not of the relaxed species?" Galaxius gave Astra a blinding grin. "You're talking to the master of convincing." "And yet you couldn't convince our parents to let us rule as unpartnered queens." Galaxius narrowed her eyes at Medusa, then looked to her bowl of popcorn. Her eyes threw little fireballs into the bowl, burning every last bit of her snack to a black crisp. Medusa gasped and hissed. "Hey!" "Get over it, Snakey locks," she chastised, "We have a powerful verdict to deliver to our parents." Medusa sulked and threw a charred piece of popcorn into her mouth. Everyone frowned at her. She shrugged. "What? It still tastes good." Luna facepalmed and Galaxius pinched the bridge of her nose. "Let's just... go."
