TOKYO, JAPAN
Medusa floated down gently onto the unlit dock, like a feather fluttering to the ground, landing with elegance. She transformed back into her human form, and acted quickly enough to catch Astra whom was close to losing consciousness.
Medusa threw Astra's arm over her shoulder and carried half of her weight as Astra limped tiredly. "Astra?"
"Y-yes?"
"Do you know where to go? What to connect to in order to recharge?" Medusa asked as they turned the corner, instantly being blinded by the incredibly bright city in the close distance.
"I-I need to rest for a while, in order to think."
Medusa looked around and spotted an alleyway towards the their right. She carried them into it, instantly dropping Astra near a large garbage tin.
Astra glared at her. "Ow!"
Medusa rolled her eyes. "Sorry, you weigh like a million pounds. Carrying a giant heap of scraps isn't exactly easy."
Astra rolled her eyes and sighed. "Let me try and geo-tag a nearby power source," she said, choosing not to reply to Medusa's comment. She pressed the tips of her fore and middle finger onto her temples, projecting a holographic screen that glowed with purple. She saw a new message sitting in her inbox and opened it.
Coordinates.
She scrolled down and found a note.
I saw your vitals were low, and knew where you would go. You are welcome.
-Mother.
Astra smiled weakly and tapped onto the coordinates, processing them.
Astra's face fell. "Oh no."
Medusa turned to Astra. "Oh no? What the flock does oh no mean?" She stepped closer to analyse what was written on Astra's screen. "Did you not find the place? W-What's happening?"
"I've found the place. It's Uchiha Laboratories. We're in the right city," she looked up to meet Medusa's eyes, "Problem is... it's all the way on the other side of the city. It would take hours to reach it. I wouldn't be able to make it in time."
Medusa groaned, rolling her eyes to the back of her head. "Well we have to get there somehow, Astra. What's so bad about being powered out for an hour or so?"
Astra looked to the ground. "It's complicated. I can afford a few minutes, but unless I'm on Elon... being off for more than an hour is a mere dream."
Medusa sighed and looked to the sky, as though seeking help from a higher being. Her eyes however, landed on the electric wires hanging from the transmitters, giving her an idea.
"Would charging you up with free-flowing currents of electricity charge you up enough to get to the other side of town?"
"Yes but-"
"Then connect to those wires and charge up." She lifted her hand up, when Astra was about to object. "I don't wanna hear it, Battery Babe. I will help you climb high enough to get to that box. You will charge up. And we will get to Uchiha Laboratories on time. Got it?"
Astra sighed for the umpteenth time since they arrived. "If I'm gonna be doing this, I might as well teleport to the top of the pole. If I fall and get software damage, you are at fault."
"I will stand right below you and materialise into a fluffy bear so you can land on me. Does that put you at ease?"
"A little..."
Medusa grinned at clapped excitedly. "Great! Now Hocus-Pocus up that pole sister."
Astra rolled her eyes. "I liked you better when you talked to birds," she mumbled.
"What was that?"
Astra disappeared at the spark of a light before Medusa could get her answer.
Medusa looked around with a frown. "Where did she..."
A glimmer of purple light in her peripheral vision, caught her attention. She turned and saw Astra gripping tightly onto the electrical pole, like a cat stuck on a tree.
"What the hell?! Are you okay?!" Medusa yelled up to her.
"No I'm not okay! Grow a pair of wings and help me out here!" Astra shouted back.
Medusa's hands formed fists at her sides as she began to grow a pair of pointy, large sparkly wings. She sprinted a short distance down the alley before flying up to the pole Astra was stuck on.
Astra turned to her, then looked at her wings. An annoyed expression formed on her face. "Really? Fairy wings, Medusa?"
"What? These are the only ones that are electricity-protected... proofed... whatever the hell it is."
"They sound incredibly annoying."
"So?"
Astra groaned. "Just open that box over there and pull out the red wire, green wire and black wire," she commanded, "in that exact order."
Medusa buzzed over to the taupe-coloured box and opened it with ease and saw a whole mess of tangled wires, sending her own brain into a jumble. "Uhh..."
"Do you see them?"
She spotted the red wire and gasped. "Yes!" She pulled the red wire and held it out to Astra.
"Stick it to my neck."
"There's no sockets on your neck-"
"Just do it!"
"Okay! Jeez," She flew down and poked her neck with the wire. Her eyes widened when the live wires she ripped out disappeared into Astra's neck. Astra's eyes rolled back and she sighed in content.
"Whoa girl. Don't c****x on the pole otherwise we'll both be shocked to death," Medusa retorted.
Astra rolled her eyes with a smile. "The protons are trying to overpower my electrons. Continue before I explode. Now look for the green wire."
Medusa went back to the box and looked for the green wire. She saw it and grabbed it, then realised it was green and yellow. She looked around for a proper green wire. Nothing. She then shrugged and ripped out the earth wire and flew over to Astra with it.
Astra's eyes widened when she saw the wire Medusa was about to implant into her throat. "MEDUSA NO!"
The wire was sucked into Astra's throat faster than she could anticipate.
Everything seemed to have happened in slow motion, from the moment Astra lost her grip on the pole. Medusa's eyes widened and she tried to grab her sister's outreached hand as she flew after her. She caught it, briefly sighing in relief.
But from the moment Astra's back slightly touched the ground...time stood still for a moment. "I'm sorry," Astra whispered.
Medusa's eyebrows furrowed as tears glistened her eyes. "For what?"
Just then, a massive force coming from Astra, surged through the whole small town like a sudden gust of wind, blowing up every light within a fifty meter radius...
and pushing Medusa far away out into the sky, disappearing into the night sky. Astra felt her entire being power down.

"Do you think Astra will be okay?" Gal asked her sister's as they looked up at the rising sun.
She heard a scoff. "Of course," Aaliyah replied, "you said it yourself: we're indestructible."
"Yes but, it doesn't stop us from getting hurt," Adonis added.
Silence hung over them as they watched the sun peak over the horizon.
"I think I know where I want to go," Adonis said. All her sisters turned to her.
"Where to?"
"London." she whispered, but it was very much heard by everyone. "That guy from the club... he's from there."
Gal frowned. "You've only known him for less than 5 hours, and you want to pursue him? How do you even know where he's from?"
She shrugged and said, "He and his friends went back and forth about their home until he said something about London."
"He seems to have said a lot to his friends," Luna worried.
"Yeah did he even say anything to you?" Sara asked.
Adonis sighed and looked down to the pavement, a couple of feet below them. "No."
"Then how the hell did you end up on his lap?"
A rosy colour painted itself on her cheeks. "It's a long story."
Gal smirked. "Is that a blush I see on the love goddess herself?"
"Shut up."
Sara laughed. "The angels are singing. Somebody is in love..."
"Oooh" All her sisters sang out and made kissing noises.
"I'm not in love. I don't even know his name."
Sara laughed. "Even I know my soul mates name," she snorted then froze when she realised what she said. "No, wait! I didn't mean that!-"
"Soul mate?" a smirk danced over Adonis' lips. "We haven't even been here that long and you've found your soul mate?"
Sara's face reddened. "I didn't mean-"
"Oh no sister. Don't worry, we got you loud and clear."
"You guys are so frustrating."
"But that's what we are here for, right? To find a soul mate."
