Her mother followed in and adjusted Galaxius-Io's crown with a gracious smile on her face. "Nonsense." "Why?!" Queen Gaia gave her daughter a warning look. "Speak to me like that again and I'll burn your hair off." She threatened. Galaxius gulped, her mother's poised self returned as her hands held Galaxius's shoulders, "Besides You know that if you ruled alone, Cosmopolitis would be at an imbalance. If Cosmopolitis were at an imbalance, the Lifestone would be upset. If the Lifestone were upset, this galaxy would blow up. If this galaxy were to blow up-" "We'd all burn to a crisp," Galaxius's father, Ra, finished off as he entered the carriage. His arm encircled his wife's shoulders. Gaia's hand held Ra's that hung over her breast as she looked up at her husband. "Besides, why wouldn't you want to be married?" Galaxius looked at her parents like they were insane. "Uhh, because boys are gross. For example, brother Radiance." "Your brothers are incredibly handsome, thanks to your father." Gaia said and gave Ra a peck. Galaxius looked away in disgust. "Of course you'd say that mom, you gave birth to them. Brother Hephaestus is cool though." "I gave birth to you too, Galaxius-Io." "And I'm forever grateful for that," Ra cooed and went in for a deeper kiss. Galaxius gagged and sat down in her seat looking out the window awaiting the ride to SGAI to begin. » » » » » » » » SAN-FLORA-FAUNAS Medusa was chilling under her leaves of the trees that hung above her. Using her powers, she spread her arms out as though she was about to fly, and chanted a spell. From that, two, lusciously green trees grew on either side of her. One was tall with big, thick leaves and the other was a scrumptious strawberry shrub filled with the ripe, red fruit. The tall tree mystically began fanning her like her very own servant. She sighed in relaxation as she picked strawberries from the shrub and chucked them into her mouth. "This... is the life," she said to herself. Suddenly, she heard the war cries in the distance. She cracked an eye open and saw her little brother Tarzus swinging from the long, ripe ropes of nature, coming in her direction. "TARZUS! STOP!" she said, the snakes on her head hissing, ready to attack. Tarzus just kept screaming at the top of his lungs. Medusa groaned in frustration and opened both her deep green eyes and looked at her brother dead in the eyes, turning him to stone just before he could reach her. She watched as his statued body dropped to the ground, right in front of her. She smirked to herself and high-fived her pet tiger next to her. "Tried to warn him." Suddenly, two massive pythons slithered up to her, one a deep brown, the other green. Medusa sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, bracing herself for what was about to be said. The snakes shapeshifted right before her and there emerged her parents, King Plutonio and Queen Serpente, in human form right in front of her with stern looks. "Medusa..." Medusa gave them an innocent look. "Yesss, father." "Unstone your brother at once," Serpente demanded. Medusa sighed and touched her brother's head, turning him back into human. Tarzus screamed like he was still swinging from the treetops for a good minute, until it dawned upon him that the ride was long over, and he was on the ground. He looked around and saw his sister and parents looking at him with bored expressions. "Oh. Hello," he said and flashed them a bright smile, flaunting his sharp fangs in the process. Medusa rolled her eyes. "Tarzus, go clean up. And never swing from the flora again. Understood?" "Yesss, mommy", he said and shapeshifted into a wolf cub, running off into the magnificent palace made of spectacular tree roots and vines, flowers blooming here and there. Medusa looked back to her parents. "Queen Ssss, King P... What's good y'all?" "Definitely not that type of language sister," her mother deadpanned. "It's time, Medusa." Her father sternly said besides Serpente. Medusa groaned and rolled her eyes. "Are you ssserious?" "Unfortunately for you, yes. The kingdom and potentially the entire galaxy is at jeopardy, Medusa." "Your father is right. It's time you stop lazing around and get seriousss Medusa." "Yeah, no. These guys out here aren't my type." "What about that Kyle boy from the sssouth?" Her mother asked. Medusa gave her mother a dry look. "He ate my hair's food mom. That's not cool." One of the snakes on her head hissed in agreement. "Yeah, Sam is still upset." Serpente rolled her eyes. "Well, we're going to SGAI whether you like it or not, young lady. Wear your crown and wear something a little more..." she eyes her daughter up and down, "presssentable." >>>>>>> MAURITIO "I'm singin' in the sea! I'm singin' in the sea! What a glorious feeling, I'm happy in the deep!" Luna sang at the top of her lungs as she sat in her oyster throne, putting pearl beads into her hair. "The man who's going to hear that wonderful singing every morning sure is a lucky ducky," the sound of her mother's voice, Atlantis, brought Luna out of her happy daze. Luna frowned. "Why the hell would I need one of those?" "To keep the peace of course, my dear daughter." Luna sighed and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, for the galaxy. However I, will never hear the end of that man's voice... 'Babe, have you seen my shirt?' 'Babe, I'm hungry' 'Babe, your singing is obnoxious'" she said in the roughest voice she could muster. Atlantis laughed and sat beside her daughter in her oyster and helped her put pearls in her braids. "They don't sound like that-" Apollo peeked his head into the room. "Sorry to interrupt. Babe, have you seen my breast plate?" Apollo asked his wife desperately. Luna couldn't help but break into laughter. "You were saying, mother?" Atlantis rolled her eyes. "In the armour closet, honey. You should know this." A boyish grin surfaces on Apollo's face as his eyes twinkled, quite literally, with stars. "That's why I love you." Atlantis smiled and turned back to her daughter. "Doesn't that just urge you to marry, honey?" "Nope", Luna said, popping the P and sprinkled silver moon dust onto her white hair, making her hair twinkle like the night sky. "Well, doesn't matter. We're going to figure this out at SGAI. Your marriage is long overdue. Your father and I met and married just when I..." "Was twelve thousand years old," Luna finished, "Yes, I'm aware." "Babe, hurry up!" Atlantis yelled out to her husband. >>>>> ETHOS Saraswati sat on a puffy white cloud in total silence, meditating. Mist surrounded her like white walls, looking like somebody's conscience. She heard the giggles of a little girl, pass her by like a ghost. She tried to ignore it and continued focusing on achieving her zen factor. She heard the giggle again and sighed, opening her stunning grey eyes. She saw a little girl peeking behind a cloud watching her. The little girl had dark, short and curly hair; completely white eyes with no lenses, like she rolled her eyes back; a white robe on with little white wings that hung down her back. An angel. "What is it?" Sara asked. "King Hermes and Queen Nike call for you in the palace." The little girl whispered, though it echoed sounding a little louder than it really was. "Their agenda?" "They say it's time." Sara sighed in frustration, massaging her temples with the tips of her fingers as though trying to tame down her headache. "Okay. I'll be right there. Thank you." The little angel nodded and flew into the mist of the sky. Sara stood up and walked to the edge of the clouds, looking down at the quiet city of Ethos. She stretched her neck and arms out. "When father calls, I shall receive," she said to herself. She arched her back and suddenly, massive white wings burst out of her back. She then dove head first over the edge of the clouds, headed straight for the road in the middle of the city. Just before she could reach the ground, her wings sprawled out and she flew with her face just mere inches away from the ground. She then shot up and headed straight for the tallest tower of the palace, knowing that's where her father was. She entered through the window then landed fluidly on her feet and walked as though she hadn't just been flying. She found her father standing by the massive window that looked out onto the spirit side of Ethos. "You called?" Hermes turned around and a smile took over his face. "The elders have a message." "I receive." Suddenly Hermes gasped and eyes rolled to the back of his head, his feet left the ground as he floated in mid air. "Princess Saraswati," a ghostly voice that sounded nothing like her father came out of Hermes, "it is I your grandfather Ganymede. Your time has come to rule over Ethos, dear granddaughter. But you must wed in order to rule in peace and keep Spectroway in harmony. Your parents must retire and this whole galaxy depends on you, and the other princesses." Hermes' eyes returned to their original place and his feet landed on the ground once again. "Well..." Sara crossed her arms. "You already know what I'm going to say." "But you can't argue with your grandfather now can you?" "What do you expect me to do? Marry a ghost?" "Watch your tongue now, young lady," Nike's voice echoed in the room. Sara turned around and saw her mother fly in through the window, her black wings withdrew and dragged behind her along with her dress. Nike looked towards her husband. "SGAI awaits us." Hermes nodded. "Of course. But it looks like our little girl needs some convincing." Sara glared at her dad. Nike smirked and strut towards Hermes, wrapping her arms around his neck. "And how do you suppose we go about it?" Hermes chuckled and inched his face closer to his wife's. "Do you remember our wedding night?" "EW! NO! I'LL GO! OKAY?! I'll go, just... not in front of me." Nike raised her eyebrow at her daughter. "Not what in front of you?" "You're my parents, and I'm the guardian of Ethos, I think I have an idea." "You didn't even know what we were going to say. Or do." Hermes teased. Sara shivered as her mind went to places. "I don't need to."
