Galaxius ordered a glass of water from the bartender then turned back to face the crowd of dancing people, that was slowly lessening as the night went on. Luna was passed out nearly dead next to Proteus, her snoring competing with the club's music.
Aaliyah was passed out cold on the dance floor, in that position you would normally see a dead body on television. You know with the bent out leg and arms all over the show...
Yeah, that one. The dead body sketch. Sad.
Now she had her head on Gal's lap, balling her eyes out because her dancing male friend had gone home.
Gal had dragged her over to the bar to lay at her feet instead. They tried lifting her up onto a stool but you know... you don't see the effects of the amount of food she consumes, but you definitely feel it when she's out cold and you have to haul her up.
Adonis had come back for another set of drinks after her group of hot and mean-looking man-friends left. They had asked her what the issue was and it seemed as though, the guardian of love was having a hard time seducing the brute of a man who's lap she was on. And for that, she ordered a whole lot of whiskey.
Astra was nowhere to be found and Sara hadn't returned from the bathroom, making Gal begin to worry. "Have you seen either Sara or Astra? I haven't seen them in a while."
Proteus frowned and looked around, as though only now realising that. She shook her head and shrugged.
"Come to think of it, I haven't seen Astra since she went out to get some air. Let me go look for them. You watch our little out of mind friends." Gal gently moved Aaliyah's head onto the bar top and stood up.
She ducked through the lessening crowd and made her way to the bathroom. She found a group of girls smoking in the corner, and none of the stalls were occupied. No Sara or Astra in sight. Not even Medusa.
Frowning, she left the bathroom and looked around the club for any signs of her sisters. She saw a fire exit not far from her and went straight for it.
Upon stepping out into the cool Manhattan night, she was met by two shocked faces, an innocent smile and not far from them - a puddle of blood that reeked of a metallic, nauseating stench that seemed to burn her nostrils with every inhale.
Her eyes briefly lingered on the little angel between her sister and the stranger. King Hermes' messenger, it immediately registered in her head. She gave Sara a look that told her to explain what the hell she was looking at.
"Sara...", she warned as they began to speak through their minds.
"Oh sweet saviour, I just witnessed a murder that this beautiful, scary-looking man just committed and he didn't see me until the bloody angel showed up and she went straight for me and now he knows I've been here and I saw everything and this spirit-forsaken angel keeps telling me there's a goddamn message I have to receive-" she rambled on.
"Sara!" Gal cut her off.
"Yes?"
"You've had too much to drink, and you're not thinking straight. I need you to suck this man's soul shortly and listen to what the bloody angel has to say. Can you do that?"
Sara took a deep breath and nodded, releasing it. She made eye-contact with the man. "I'm sorry but you're gonna have to die, for like 20 seconds," she said cringing.
"What?" the man's gravelly voice echoed.
"Sara," Gal dragged her name. Sara stepped forward and took a giant gasp, aimed right at the man- devouring his soul with barely any effort. Once she was done, she watched as the man's body dropped with a thud on the rough tarmac. They cringed when they heard the sound of a bone breaking.
Gal sighed and turned back to the little angel, as did Sara. "Alright. The message."
Sara composed herself and answered in her echoing deepish voice. "Winged messenger, I receive."
"The Kings and Queens of Spectroway have sent me here to inform you, that Lord Hades' daughter of the hell gates of Tartus and the darker worlds, is also on this planet. We have not identified her motives but we have reason to believe that she might have caught wind that you seek Kings to rule beside you, and is here to stop you."
Gal and Sara looked at each other with wide eyes, then turned back to the angel as she went on to say more.
"You are advised to stay in separate regions so that she may not find you easily. Preferably stay in groups of two, if possible so that you are not alone should you have to combat Heiress Pandora."
After a moment of silence to process what the hell the angel just said, Sara dismissed it and they watched as it flew away disappeared into the night sky.
"So Pandora is here, and we have to split up because she wants to kill us," Gal though out loud. "How lovely of her."
"You'd think by now she and her father would know that we're birthed into immortality," Sara commented.
Gal frowned in thought. "Are we still immortals on this planet, much less in this galaxy?"
"I don't know honestly," Sara said as she pondered over it.
"We need to find Astra and ask," her eyes briefly travelled to the man laying on the ground, "but first, give him his soul back."
"With pleasure." Sara gagged before she opened her mouth and let Sebastianelli's soul return to his body.

Astra stumbled out of the club, her brain a glitching mess. She leaned against the wall, trying to catch her breath. She held her dizzy head and looked towards her left.
There Medusa laid on the ground like a sunbathing starfish, talking to a flock of pigeons. "- yeah well I went to this sorcery school once, behind my parents' back, and they taught me how to spit bird seeds in case I ever got ganged up on by pigeons. Apparently you guys are mean and I should run, but I had like 12 spiked pina coladas and some vodka, and you seem like such nice birds. Anthony, you gave me such a nice manicure," she gazed ever so fondly at the bird poop on her hands, "I think my sister's will be jealous. By the way, you guys should like run... my snakes might surface and turn you into KFC."
Astra furrowed her eyebrows, thinking she was hallucinating. She shook her head and tried to send an SOS to Gal and Proteus, by crossing her left arm over and resting it on her right shoulder and lifted her right hand up.
~~~
"Hurry," Gal pulled Sara back into the club and they went straight for the bar where the other princesses were. "Found her," she said once she was in front of them.
"Where were you? We were beginning to worry," Proteus immediately voiced her worries.
Sara scratched the back of her head. "It's a long story."
"You guys need to sober up. We just received some major bad news and we all need to hear it."
Proteus turned on her chair to call the bartender. "Hi, do you have anything to help our sisters sober up?"
The tender smiled and nodded, reaching for glasses underneath the bar top.
"We'll need about 6. Two of them to go-"
"Oh goodness -Guys I'm getting an SOS from Astra. It says she's right outside the club and there's something wrong with her." Gal said.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know, it's hard to get a visual on what's going on with her, but whatever it is, it must be serious. We have to hurry."
The bartender handed them their drinks. They looked like tall glasses of grass juice. Proteus and Sara shook their other sisters awake.
"Rise n shine sisters! We've got some sobering news to tend to so drink up!"
They groaned like injured warriors returning home from the battle field, and drank their concoctions.
"Please try to remain sober enough to at least make it out this club."
After drinking the whole concoction, occasionally gagging due to its disgusting taste, they were just about okay enough to comprehend what was going on around them - though that didn't mean they didn't walk like zombies playing soccer on a hot summer day.
After finally leaving the club, they immediately spotted Astra slumped over on the ground against the wall, fading in and out of consciousness. Not far from her, Medusa was still talking to her pigeon friends while laying on the ground like a dead body.
Gal rushed to Astra's side. "Are you okay? Astra, it's me, Galaxius." She tried to shake her.
"I-I-I-I'm having a glitch. N-need to recharge," Astra said whilst talking like a malfunctioning phone assistant.
Gal sighed, exasperated. "You have got to be shitting me," she murmured to herself, pinching the bridge of her nose. She then turned to Proteus who had shooed the pigeons away, and was now helping Medusa drink the concoction.
"T, I need a remedy over here please."
Proteus nodded and tossed the bottle over to Galaxius. She caught it and opened it, holding it to Astra's lips. "Drink up Astra. We need you."
"Oh hey guys! When did you get here?" Medusa chirped, sounding the happiest of all her sisters.
"You smell like bird s**t," Adonis commented dryly.
"Hey!" Medusa frowned. She turned to where Astra and Gal were. "What's happened to Astra?"
"She's experiencing a glitch," Sara informed her, "She needs a recharge. And I don't think New York's electrical power will be enough to recharge her without shutting down the whole city. We need something a lot more powerful."
"Poor sister."
A moment of silence.
"I'm hungry," Medusa, Sara and Luna said im unison.
Gal and Proteus sighed, sharing a look. "Oh boy."
