Since it was just a two-day stay, packing up was a breeze.
As soon as they stepped out, Tina caught the little scamp who had swiped her phone. "Bodi, what are you holding in your hand?"
Bodi quickly hid his hands behind his back. "Nothing at all."
"I can see perfectly fine. Hand it over!"
Bodi sneaked a glance at Colvin. "Mommy, you can’t scold me in front of Daddy. That's so embarrassing."
"If you know it's embarrassing, why did you sneak off with my phone?" Tina snatched the phone back from Bodi and powered it on.
As expected, there was no trace of anything.
"Who did you call?"
Bodi bargained, "I'll tell you, but you can't scold me or cut my snack supply."
"Don't worry, if Mommy cuts back, Daddy's got you covered," Colvin chuckled softly, his voice gentle.
