“No, I'm full,” Tina lied without a second thought.
Colvin, however, was convinced that she didn't like the food here, and frankly, neither did he. Clearly, they were here to accommodate Andy.
With this realization, jealousy flared up inside him. “I'm full too. Let's go.”
“You go ahead. I still have things to discuss with Dr. Emily.”
Colvin leaned back casually, “What’s up? I’m curious too.”
“You're a busy man, always wheeling and dealing. I can't afford to waste your time.”
“I'm free now, and being with you isn’t a waste.”
A sudden clatter interrupted them. Tina turned to see that Andy had dropped his chopsticks.
“You two carry on, don't mind me,” Andy said with a wry smile, taking a sip of his drink.
Colvin’s voice turned icy, “Is it allowed to drink before going into surgery?”
