ANAIAH’S POV
I wasn’t sure if Michael believed the little story that I gave him but I had tried as hard as I could to be convincing. He probably thought was losing my mind because of the way I looked and I had done that on purpose. There was a little bit of truth in what I told him and I was losing my mind a little bit. I was thinking about Max a lot lately and this was the reason why I decided to try and find out if there was a way that I could break the mate bond. I knew that the only way that Max was going to accept me and take me back was if I was no longer mated to Michael. I didn’t care if breaking my mate bond with Michael put my life at risk because I now knew that he had no intention of developing any sort of relationship with me.
