Sophia
"I wonder what time it is.."
I'm still hidden under a pile of dirt and seems like I also managed to grab some poop onto myself. Feeling disgusted, but I had to stay still because there is no telling when James might show up and I did not dare to peek outside again. But I do have to get moving soon, since my limbs started to feel bit numb and I desperately need to use a bathroom, or atleast a bush, given the current situation. Kind of ironic actually. James is writing those books full of romance and drama and now he actually got himself into one. I wonder whether or not he's going to use this in one of his books. Or maybe he's going to write next novel in diary format? That way he could add so many details he usually doesn't. James can burn in hell with his books, for all I care. I just want to get to somewhere safe with my baby, plus it was getting dark, so I really need to get moving.
It has been quiet for awhile now, so I thought it was safe to get out of my hiding spot. Pushing branches and dirts off myself, I left the covering evergreen tree. And as soon as I stood up, I noticed a figure sitting by the rock, just few meters away from me. "Crap..." I mumbled with my heart racing, because the figure belonged to the man I've been trying to shake off. In that moment of shock, I even forgot my bathroom need and started to look for possible escape routes. Taking a step backwards, something cracked under my foot and I saw the figure raising his head. Without thinking another second, I turned around and ran, not knowing in which direction I was actually going as long as it was away from James.
"Sophia! Sophia!" I heard him calling my name again, but this time it had a hint of sadness in it. I almost felt sorry for him, but he's the one who caused all this. I had a perfect life back at the city, with a steady job, nice colleauges and a group of friends. And before I knew it, tears started flowing down my cheeks. My dear friends, who now seemed to be so far away both physically and emotionally. All thanks to James. He was the one pushing me to let go of those relationships because "obviously I won't have time for it anyway" as he liked to put it. Not paying much attention to my surroundings, I scratched my face pretty bad when I decided to run through the bushes and then tripped over a rock. Getting up and trying to pick up the pace, I heard him calling for me alot closer to me than I expected. And a moment after I felt James grabbing my arm. "No! Let me go you mongrel!" I tried to shake his hand off with no result. He pulled me back, making me lose my balance and we both fell on the ground with him on top of me. "I will let you go if you just stay still and listen to what I have to say. Running away without any explanation is for children. We're both grown-up for pete's sake!" His voice was filled with pure anger. "Now, be a good girl and do as I asked you." He said while moving his face close to mine. I didn't reply, as I was too busy looking for a chance to escape. "Look at me when I talk to you, woman!" James yelled to my face. And at that moment I realized my chance to escape is literally infront of my eyes. I nodded and the man on top of me seemed to calm just a bit. "I'm sorry, James. You're right about what I did was wrong and I can't apologize enough. Would you please forgive me this one time?" My voice was merely a whisper but I knew he heard every word. "I just started to panic and lost every bit of rational thinking. Again, I'm sorry for running off like that." I turned my look away like I was really regretting what I did, but inside, I wanted to throw up for speaking this way. I would never be sorry for what I did.
His left hand still clutching mine, James moves his right hand to my chin, turning my face to his. "I might forgive you, but I want something in return," he whispered back to me with a smug grin on his face. "Anything," I pleaded. It was clearly visible how his ego got a boost. "Well, I could never say no to a kiss from you, my butterfly. So how about one right now and rest of it later when we get back to our home?"
"Yes sir," I replied quietly and as soon as I did, he pressed his lips onto mine and two seconds later, I bit his bottom lip. James pulled away with a shout as his hand landed on my cheek with a hard slap. "So you want to play it rough? Alright, I will give you rough," he said as he slapped me in the face few more times. I felt little blood coming out from my lip, but that only made me feel more awake and certain in my plan. I kept glaring at James as he got on his feet and pulled me up aswell. Still close to me, he brought his mouth right next to my ear and whispered "Breaking you will be so much fun. But don't worry, I ain't going to do it here because I want to enjoy it. And after I'm done, let's see if you dare to try to do something stupid like this again." I felt shivers running down my spine as I saw his wide and evil grin pulling away from me, making him look like some villain from a superhero movie.I could only imagine what James have planned for me, but I was quite sure it will not be simple being locked in my room like usually. "Did I really run this far?"
It was close to sunset when me and James were still walking, him follwing me, having my arms twisted behind my back so I couldn't try to run away again. Wondering if I actually managed to run that far or is James just taking a different route back to home, I heard a car driving in the distance. But for me, it was more of a beacon of hope. I could use it to get away from James for sure, but making him let go of my hands, that part was bit problematic. I stopped walking and so did the man behind me. "What wrong with you? Didn't you hear me saying we walk till we reach home? No stopping." "But James," I hesitated and tried to look over my shoulder, " I could really really use a potty break right now. My bladder is about to explode and I'm not sure for how long I can hold it," I ended, pouting my lips. "You can wet your pants for all I care. I said we keep walking and that's what we do. No stops." "But James, are you surely comfortable with having a constant pee smell right under your nose? And there's still quite a distance till we reach our house," I added. James was losing his patience again. "Okay, fine! You can have a break right here, take it or leave it. I will let you use only one hand."
"Still better than nothing," I commented quietly to myself. "You said anything?" was James curious.
"No, no. Just happy that I can relieve myself." I was about to unbutton my jeans, when I realized that he was still staring at me. "Do you mind? Just because I'm your prisoner, doesn't mean I can't have any privacy at all."
"Do you really think I'm so stupid and let both of your hands go?"
"Not at all. But you could atleast turn around and not look how I do my business," I replied impatiently. As a result, I had my one hand free and James had his back turned to me, holding my other hand. But it wasn't twisted anymore, so I could squat down nicely. But my untwisted arm also gave me a chance to do something else. After some struggling with getting my jeans off and on again and feeling alot lighter, I turned to James to tell him I'm done. He turned around and his eyes got wide in suprise when he saw my smirking face. "What the hell you smiling at..." was all he could say before I drove my knee with all my strenght right into his manhood area. Men and their stupid stance, leaving the most important part completely unprotected. James let go of my hand to use both of his to cover his private area and crying out loud, falling on his knees and cursing me. "See you later, alligator," I smiled as I gave him a small wave and ran without hesitation in the direction I heard a car driving before.
"This went alot smoother than I could've hoped."
I kept running and soon enough, I reached the black highway. In the distance, I saw another car coming and that was also my only chance to get away. I started moving towards the car, waving both of my hands high above my head, shouting it to stop. The car got close enough to see me and as it passed me, I lost all hope. But moment after, got it back when I heard tires screeching and the car slowing down. Without wasting any more of valuable time, I ran to the car. Giving the door handle a try, I found it unlocked. I jumped into the car, almost yelling at the driver "Go! GO!" and closing the door as the car took off. From the window, I saw James emerging from the forest. This was close. Too close. I sank myself deeper into the seat, enjoying the warmth, not realizing the driver kept looking at me with raised eyebrows like he had seen a ghost. "What?" I asked with a raised tone, "Never seen a woman before?" "I have," he replied, "but I haven't seen a woman before, covered in mud and blood and with something that awfully smells like poo, coming out of a forest and then getting into a random car. Gently said, you look like you've been through hell."
"You have no idea," I simply replied with a frown. "It's a long story."
"I have time," the man said, "I will be driving all night before I reach my destination, plus I could use some excitement. Can't turn on the radio, because it makes me sleepy."
"Well, if you want excitement that much," I started, "then I guess I have the right story for you."
