"Go on. Tell your father how one of those cursed witches did this to you. Tell him how they’ve been breaking the pact we shed so much blood to create." She spat hatefully.
In the m******e that occurred during the great war, mum’s family had been one of the countless casualties.
A witch attacked them in their home while my mother who had just been 10years old then was digging through boxes for her toy in the attic. Her parents, her brother and sister had all been slaughtered while mother hid in the attic. If the witch had known about her presence in the house, she would have been murdered along with her family.
