The clock was ticking, Avalon didn’t know how much longer he could wait to complete the mating bond with his female. He tried to conceal it, he tried to act normal and be stable, but the darkness inside him was growing faster than ever before. He could feel an urge of violence and madness take his insides.
More than that, he could feel the sorrow and apathy claiming him.
He was dying inside without the life that pulsed in her like a sun, without her light. He knew he was hurting her too. His heart was growing bleak and icy.
