After Aubrey’s mother reached Broderick’s room with the news, Aubrey raced from the room and through the packhouse. She burst through the front doors and down the main staircase out into the night. She had no idea where she was going, but with the moonlight fueling her, she ran in the direction that her instinct was taking her. She ran though the front gates and turned right, and saw a rather large building up ahead. It was well lit and was busy with pack members coming and going. That must be the pack hospital.
