Samson stood staring at Eleanor, his heart pounding like a drum in his chest. He tried to avoid her large brown eyes gazing at him from behind the door, but now he was sucked in and free-falling into the depths of her beauty and strength. Her long dark hair was tousled and blanketing her shoulders. He wanted to reach out and touch it, feeling its softness between his fingers.
