Rose and Darrin still hadn’t decided on a name for the heir. Darrin really was ecstatic, but something just plain bothered him about Charlotte and Brady.
He tried like hell to ignore it. He avoided the kitchen at all costs. Avoided Charlotte. Avoided talking about her.
When Rose brought her up, he changed the subject.
It helped.
Until Rose would bring everyone together.

Whatever. Charlotte put on a smile, albeit a fake one, but he could manage the same. Brady seemed cautious of it all but never said anything. But no one could hide the joy they both had over Charlotte’s pregnancy. Brady acted like this kid was going to save the world.
