Soren's eyes went wide and he held his arms out at his side like I was killing him.
I broke the kiss and rolled my eyes. Typical Soren. He was so flustered over a peck on the lips.
"Do it again. I think I went into shock," Soren blinked, licking his lips. His eyes were still wide and staring out into the distance.
"Come on," I chuckled, hooking our arms together and following after Griffin who had quickly turned away to whistle when I kissed Soren.
"You must have scared Griffin," Soren commented. "He keeps tripping over his feet,"
I laughed. "He's fine,"
My heart skipped a few beats and I paused.
'Blood on your hands,' I heard the wind whisper.
