The loud ringing of a mobile phone startled us awake. Soren muttered, rolling over in bed and landing on the floor as he searched blindly for the phone. "Turn it off," I groaned, throwing a pillow at Soren. He yawned, rising to his feet and grabbing his phone from the bedside table. "Why do you have an alarm?" I snapped, brushing my hair out of my face. "It was a mistake," Soren grunted. He pushed the curtains open and light filtered into the room from the huge glass windows. I covered my eyes as the sunlight burned them. "What time is it?" I asked. "It's 9:48" Soren replied. He snatched his backpack from the floor and hurried into the bathroom.
