“Also, I couldn’t see you at all while standing on the other side. I think it must be the fog.” Brenda informed Sussan. “Fog can hide people but not their voices. I did shout back but just that this place blocks everything that was happening inside from the outside world.” Sussan said and squatted on the ground. She took a handful of the mud and sniffed it. Then she took out a small box from her infinite pouch and collected the sand. “If I am not wrong this soil does not belong to our planet,” Sussan said and shocked Brenda. “What do you mean by that? Does that mean we are in Planet Ashes?” Brenda asked with her mouth wide open in awe. “No… It’s just a mirror image that is formed by someone powerful…” Sussan then examined the surroundings t0 make sure that her assumptions were not wrong. “What, someone powerful? It must definitely be the Almighty, Ashes Lord,” Brenda concluded and her eyes started to search for the Ashes Lord with enthusiasm to witness his presence. “Mirror image?” David by then could not stop himself from entering the Golden Land. “Yes, I have seen these in Asran star. But I never thought that it was possible to do it on other planets as well,” Sussan mumbled as she was in deep thought on why he would do something like this over here. “Let’s go forward and check. I am excited to meet the Ashes Lord,” Brenda almost jumped up and down in exhilaration.  “Yes, let’s go. But everyone, be careful. We have to be on guard all the time, if not we may get lost in this fog,” Sussan warned them. Until they reached a certain distance, they could not see anyone at all. They thought that the whole place was nothing but filled with fog alone. But then, all of a sudden as if the fog that was covering this area disappeared, it started to reveal a new world to everyone. “This is where I couldn’t enter after I searched for Wallace and others. I think there is a barrier placed around this area to stop any outsiders from entering,” Victor informed Sussan. Sussan after hearing that wanted to check the perimeter around that area. So she took David along with her to go check it out. “What do you think? Will we be able to break the barrier?” David asked her. “I don’t know, we need to check. I am thinking that it’s better to leave everyone behind and let them guard this area while I will try to enter alone to see, what is on the other side of the barrier?” Sussan told him. “I cannot allow you to go alone when we know nothing about this place. It’s highly dangerous and I still think it’s a wild chase where our success rate is nil or even lesser than zero. Do you not know that the clan’s future is in your hands? If anything happens to you, then what will happen to me and our kids? So, I am sorry, I cannot allow you to do this,” David held her arms and did not allow her to move from there. “David, as a leader sometimes, we need to take risks and I am doing all these for our clan. If we miss this opportunity then we can never get another chance to correct the wrong. So, I am sorry, but I have to go,” Sussan pulled her arms from his tight grip and walked towards the team and Brenda. When she informed Brenda of her plan, even she was a little worried for her best friend, Sussan. “Sussan, did you forget that when we are on this side of the yellow patch, no one could see or hear us at all from the other end. So, if you cross this barrier now then I am guessing that it’s going to be the same. We cannot see you or hear you or help you once you go to the other side,” Brenda argued with her. “I know but I must do this to save this planet,” Sussan said with a straight face. The distance was not so big earlier when they could not see or hear from the other side. ‘It was hardly just a foot difference. Will it be the same if I cross this barrier as well?’ Sussan wondered. When they entered the golden land, Brenda told her that she could finally see her. But even if a little bit of their body was on the red side, then they couldn't see who was standing in front of them at all. “It’s going to be tricky but I have to do it,” Sussan mumbled and then stood up straight facing the clan members. She then informed them, “We are near where Ashes Lord’s is! We achieved our goal as we have found him! It was all because of your hard work. All these tricks that we have seen until now… only he is capable of doing it. And the heat that we are experiencing, is exactly how Ashes planet’s environment would be. He is here and that’s why we feel this abnormal heat. But this is all normal for him as he lives on the Ashes planet.” Victor then realized something and said in a low voice to Sussan, “We need to rush inside and save my team members who went forward to meet the Ashes Lord.” “Yes! If the Ashes Lord sees them, we do not know what might happen to them. What if a fight starts and we lose our clan members. I have heard that the Ashes Lord never tolerates anyone on his territory. Also, if we are too late then the result may turn irreversible,” David said in a tense voice and made everyone frightened. “Nothing will happen to our clan members. I promise! I will go inside the barrier and bring them outside without any harm,” Sussan declared and moved towards the barrier wall. She touched it and her hands immediately entered the wall. Brenda and David hurriedly followed her but were stopped as the barrier did not allow them to enter.  “Let me join you in the search for him,” Brenda said to Sussan. Sussan objected as she was sure that the more people she brings inside the barrier, it will become more dangerous for them. So, she said to Brenda, “No, I want you to stay here and protect the clan. I cannot leave them unprepared like how I left them before. It was my responsibility to protect them but I ignored it once, as I had to search for my son earlier. But now, I can only entrust their safety to you. Please take care of them until I return with the Ashes Lord.” Brenda hesitated and held onto Sussan’s hand that was on the other side of the barrier. Sussan smiled at Brenda and said,  “Moreover, there are few members from the fifth team along with their leader who is already on the other side of this barrier. So, do not worry, I will be safe and also be careful.” “Still…” Brenda did not let go of her hand and looked at her with pleading eyes. “Brenda, the Ashes Lord only knew me and no one else. If he sees us coming in with so many people then he might raise his guard and may not agree to help us. I promise I will come back in no time.” Sussan promised her. She then even denied David’s request to tag along with her by pushing him some distance away. She then told him, “This place is perfectly safe and a good hiding spot from the militants. They cannot attack us here as it is under the protection of the Ashes Lord. I want you to go back to the campsite and bring everyone here.” “Ok,” David said with a poker face and turned around to leave without wishing her luck. “He is a bit upset that you would not let him come with you,” Brenda said. “Let him be. I will have a long talk with him, once I come back. Stay safe until then and do not fight with your mother,” Sussan knocked on Brenda’s head and disappeared into the barrier. “You too stay safe and if the negotiation doesn’t work then come back immediately,” Brenda shouted at the empty space in front of her.
