‘Also, did they intentionally hide Elly, so that it would distract Sussan’s mind and could easily get her attention diverted? But right now, Peter and Sussan went to meet that evil witch. Should I have stopped them or should I have joined them? What if something bad happens over there?’ She wanted to pull all her hair out as all these questions bombarded her mind.
The whole situation was too confusing and nerve racking. She just hoped that Sussan and Peter would find Elly soon, so that they could concentrate on the war and try to stop it by working together.
Suddenly something popped up in her mind and Brenda stopped walking. She then gathered everyone around and asked them, “Who started the rumor first that the war broke out against the Lambanies as we continued to stay in their land?”
