The week following the Wildcard announcement had flown by. The entire team trained with renewed vigor now that their slot in the competition was confirmed beyond any shadow of a doubt. Barry had skipped most classes that week, and judging by Serry’s time online so did Sarah. Still, for some reason Barry could not pinpoint, she had refrained from coming to their dorm room to play. He had started suspecting something was not quite right between Sarah and Luca, but that seemed like crazy talk whenever Barry tried making sense of it.
